After a lovely evening in Munster with locally breweed "dunkel" und "hell" bier and classic good wienerschnitzel (von) the day begins with our longest leg, from Munster to Aabenraa in Denmark - 477 km according to TomTom. Todays trip include passing both Bremen and Hamburg and their congested traffic... Ques puts the co-driver at task switching on and off the engine cooling fan, one of Georgies little squawks (and if any savvy X300 person out there knows why the cooling fans dont come on automatically that knowledge is worth a reward).
Otherwise Georgie is running like atop, when our 175 kg ballast was traded for 100 points and a beer with team AlleyCat (mjau guys) she rides higher and better/easier. We think we might have a broken spring on the right rear causing the excessive camber and vibration when loaded down. We will have to see what it was eventually.
Carin is currently driving and for some reason Georgie and her has that female bond where she rides nice with Carin behind the wheel (she is a very accomplished driver indeed - glad she is on our team).
Environmentally friendly as we are picking a fuel efficient race car we have averaged a fuel consumption around 8,7L per 100 km, which we are very proud of.
We have about 30 hors left in the race and one last night in Aabenraa, after that its Båstad arrival after lunch tomorrow.
TD signing off for now, and there really is no lock that I know that can keep in Bolt and Rhino... No there isnt :)
