The other teams have had various troubles along the route. Brakes giving up, oil coolers cracking open and/or cars just not working in general. Team Doherty however have had a very pleasant trip indeed. The car running great, rear seats giving outstanding comfort and chassis supplying the in-car experience only a Jaguar LWB can supply.
But... now Team Doherty has been struck by bad karma. The total luxury supplied by Jaguar has resulted in a totally unexpected backlash. 3 out of 3 team members are showing symptoms of having caught a cold. After considering swine flu the team has arrived to the conclusion that the AC-system is to blame. The car is simply too cold... this issue is derived from the efforts made to turn the rear vents into krokofant coolers (krokofant is a foambased chocolate candy wich has a tendencie to melt in a temperature above room temperature). The efforts made have been successful, apart from the side effect of the team catching a cold.
In practise the team blames Team Jert that supplied the krokofants... a score to be settled at a later date...
EDIT: The bevereges pictured was bought as cold remedies... nothing else.
